An invitation to join us
As the Chair of CETANZ and on behalf of the organizing committee, I invite you to join us for the first CETANZ conference which is to be held in Auckland 24 - 26 September 2008.
The inception of CETANZ following on from the success of the CELC 2006 conference has provided the NZ Civil Testing Profession with a forum. Members of the committee are from a diverse range of testing organizations, aiming to develop the issues raised by attendees at the CELC 2006 event. Our committee is also striving to create an organization that serves its members with professional development, and this is where the CETANZ 2008 conference will benefit you and your organization.
"The Road Ahead..."
 The theme for the 2008 event will be “The Road Ahead…” and we will be accepting abstracts from all areas of Civil Testing, including Roading, Concrete, Geotechnical and Soils & Aggregates. We welcome attendees and presenters from New Zealand and overseas as we appreciate that we have much to learn from each other’s experience. Some key presenters have been invited to the conference to provide you with great insight into our industry.
Contributions
This conference is the NZ forum for Civil testing and we are keen to see all types of papers to help us develop our industry. We would like to hear from presenters who would like to submit papers or presentations on the following topics/areas:
 Case studies
Technical development
Business management (including careers and training)
